Bio:
Oluwaseyi Moejoh is an environmentalist, global changemaker, and law student who is very enthusiastic about environmental sustainability and ocean protection. She is the co-founder of U-recycle Initiative-a youth-led organization focused on advancing a circular economy in Africa through reinforcing environmental sustainability and recycling culture across schools and communities. She founded this organization after winning the 2018 TNCI Social Impact Award.
Prior to founding U-recycle, she was appointed as the 2017 Global Goal Six Ambassador at The Neo Child Initiative Africa (TNCI). As an ambassador, she engaged over 2,000 girls on projects focusing on sanitation and recycling.
Moejoh is a Fall 2020 National Geographic Young Explorer. In addition, she is also a 2020 SOZO Youth-in-Development Fellow and a 2020 Africave fellow. She has been featured on various local and international media and radio stations in recognition of the impact of U-recycle’s work.
